All Around the Yard...

So while much of the country is snowing and blowing, we are having 72 Sunny degrees with a mild breeze...
A walk around the yard brightens the day even though the grass is still brown and there is not much color except for the brilliant blue of the sky.
Our Bass Shaped Chimanea awaits an evening fire when the air cools but you still don't want to go into the house...
The cement bunnies are laying in the sun...
And this cement leaf with the frog in the shadow of the bike shed was made by Bill.
The Gecko Windchimes, a gift from my daughter, hangs in there waiting for real spring...
And cement Teddy on his little bench relaxes in front of the work shed.
And in keeping with my forever dream of living back on the farm of our youth, I have this pretty hen on her perch on the back deck.  I repaint her every year as she fades with the weather and sun.

So all in all, I very nice day indeed!  If you would like to see Silver Moss, Livid Entoloma Mushrooms and Camelia bushes, please pop over to Kerrie's Korner, SC blog, see you there!

And here is sweet Kitty who has been patched many times, taking his nap...

Thank you for visiting and I do hope you will come again soon!

Kerrie, I love all y our little stone creatures! How cute! Your part of town looks so much like our own..not much green but lots of sunshine. If it weren't for the evergreens, it would be pretty brown around here too. But we do have lots of things blooming now..purple clover, camilla roses, and the tulip tree. Everything just sort of 'broke out' this week. :o)

Thanks for giving us a tour of your home. I ADORE your chicken. I have one too..a gift from a friend, but she was 'born' distressed so I don't have to repaint her.

Still pining for REAL chickens. But I'm being patient..one hurdle at a time. :o)Thanks for your kind comments about the grandkids.

They are almost to Washington as of 20 minutes ago and had a great trip. :o) They never stopped...just get driving..three people driving three hours at a time. So glad it's not me. :O)

So much beautiful. You made me wish for spring and summer now. In Norway at my place today we have snow and 17 celsius degrees below zero. I guess I have to wait some time for spring...
