All the Sounds of the World are like Music....

Remembering classical movie song lyrics.  All the sounds of the world are like Music, All the sounds of the world are like music, the corn is as high as an elephants' eye...remember these lyrics from Oklahoma?? Some morniings all these songs fill my head, especially on a Sunny day.

And of course, "The Hills are Alive, With the Sound of Music", from Sound of Music.  Hubby and I just watched it again on TV for the Umteenth time!!  It is his favorite movie.

We both adore this movie.  We visited the Von Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont several times when we lived in NYS.  It is so beautiful there and the closest thing to the Austrian Mountain setting in the Movie. Maria's family maintains the legend and the place.

And How about "Just what makes that little ol' ant, think he'll move that Rubber tree plant? Everyone knows an Ant can't... move a Rubber Tree Plant!  But He's got, "HIGH HOPES", he's got high hopes!  High in the sky apple pie...hopes!  Sung by Frank Sinatra.

I especially love all the classic movies, especially the ones from 30's, 40's and '50's!!  There are just no wonderful stars like Bette Davis, Clark Gable, Vivian Leigh, ad infinitum!!  I love to laugh and cry and rejoice with all of them!  Do you love classic movies?  Do show tunes run through your head??  I love the Theme from PICNIC with Kim Novak and William Holden....TRUE LOVE with Bing Crosby and Grace Kelly....
