FRIDAY FABRIC DAY
NOTHING LIKE A BIT OF FABRIC, some ribbon roses, and purple ribbon to brighten a winter day!! I have been wanting to trim some towels with fabric for ages now and today bought some really pretty fat quarters at Wal-mart for only 1.00 each! They are 100% cotton and so cheery! I found a pair of white thirsty kitchen towels for only 3.00 a pair and the lovely purple ribbon for 47 cents! I will show you the finished product in a few days but these are the combinations I am thinking about below. I love hand sewing so may do it all by hand with quilting thread. It was sunny today here in Garden City SC but still very chilly and I feel like I am in the middle of the winter doldrums with January only half over! But handwork keeps me satisfied and happy. Creating is so rewarding. Have a nice week end and pray for all the people who need the Lord in Haiti and all over the world. Peace and Love, Kerrie

Great fabric. I'm learning to sew and have kicked out a few home dec items. They pass but if anyone looks close at the stiches, LOL.
Love your sweet blog. I signed on to follow.
love that cat fabric...
