Blue Birds Winter Digs

The Blue Birds are just buzzing around the backyard every day now!  This years babies are adults and they come in groups checking out the two birdhouses we have in the yard.  They look for roosting places in the winter time to keep warm at night and do not fight.  They are more communal and two males are not in competition but hang out together.  We feel so blessed to see them.  Blue Birds of Happiness is a song from my childhood and it is certainly true that they make our hearts happy when observing them.  They are so beautiful!

Candles burning for Amy Ragan and the others who have gone on before us this past 12 months.
