Praying Mantis Visitor
NOW YOU KNOW I could not just have a plain ol' visitor in the yard here!
I always am picking dead leaves and things off the bushes when I walk in the yard and I almost grabbed right a hold of this green guy thinking he was a leaf! Imagine my surprise when I realized what it was and called hubby to take a picture. His camera is better for close up shots. I think mantis' are so interesting and their bodies so intricate in design. Now the pictures below are ones I took sitting right here in my window of a "Stink Bug" that was crawling up the window. I did not need a telephoto lens for him- yikes!

No, please don't! I have enough bugs here as it is... yikes! I know they all have a purpose, but not in my house!!!
I've never seen a real life manthis, only on TV and pictures.
