Barbara is our youngest daughter. She has always been a lot of fun and shares our sense of humor completely! She was such a good sport about letting me post her in her pink tee with her hair pulled up while coloring it. I just love all vintage cards but especially Valentine Greetings! I love the Era of Romance that existed when these precious postcards were created. What fun! Valentine week is so much fun with all the commercials, cards and sentiments all around us. I have created my own Valentine to feature on Pink Saturday created by Beverly at HOW SWEET THE SOUND. I cannot wait to see what everyone has done for the special day, especially my beautiful niece, Patricia at From the Basement Stairs. Patricia loves everything Victorian, everything Marie (Antoinette) and creates the most beautiful trading cards and tags that I have ever seen. She also is a skilled crochet artist. I marvel and gasp at some of her beautiful crocheted pieces that are elegant and perfect. Her vignettes of house decor are so pleasing to the eye as she has a real flair for decorating. I also love the view from her windows where she gives us a peek at her precious garden in summer and snow covered field in winter light.
