REMEMBERING 2010.....

Should old acquaintance be forgot...♫  Considering all that has happened in the last year that just whizzed by us, it was really a pretty good year!!
We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary in February and are still in love!
In March, one of our Granddaughter's turned 18!

Back then:

And when she Graduated in June!
3rd Granddaughter turned 18 two weeks later and also graduated!  below she is with her friend and is the one on the right without her mortor board on Graduation Day!

And we got to go camping a few times with the kids and grandkids and grand dogs!
We went to my 50th H.S. Reunion in July...
My childhood friend K-12 at our 50th H.S. Reunion

And in September, we both had a reunion with a friend from both of our childhoods in Charleston, SC.  Had not seen each other in 55 or more years!
Bill, me, Diane and our childhood friend Tommy
We really have had a wonderful year looking back despite Hubby's cancer which never can beat him down, he is such a wonderful person and so strong to fight this terrible Multiple Myeloma!  And we had another sweet reunion with a beautiful young woman who was a friend of our children growing up and her beautiful baby daughter, Nina!  What a thrill that was!
And we made a lot of new friends!
God is so good!  Hope your remembering was great for this last year, too!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PRAYING FOR MY HUBBY, FOLLOWING MY BLOGS AND MAKING MY DAYS WITH YOUR WONDERFUL COMMENTS!!

♥KERRIE♥
My heart to yours...

Happy New Year Kerrie and Bill...
You are both SO precious to me. It has been quite a year this 2010 and we are expecting a much better year in 2011.

I pray that God will listen to our prayers Bill, and take this cancer away or put it in a permanent out of commission place. You have been quite the trooper this year. I continue to pray for a miracle as I know God hears all our prayers, and he is listening as we pray. May he touch and heal this upcoming year in 2011 sweet friend. I will not give up on this prayer.

Kerrie my precious friend, I thank you SO much for your friendship, your love, your sharing, your smile and the true JOY that you give me each and every time I pop over to visit. You are a true GEM. I love you sweetie.

Have a beautiful and safe New Year's Eve. Tony and I will be staying in where it is safe in this BIG city we call home.

Many hugs and SO much love, Sherry

That was a wonderful recap - I'm amazed at you two and so happy that you are still in love after 50 years of marriage. That's saying a lot and yes, indeed, a lot to be thankful for!

Wishing you another wonderful 2011 - you both deserve it!

All the best,
Doris :-)
