ETERNAL LIFE

John 11:25,26 "Jesus told her, I am the one who raises the dead and gives them life again. Anyone who believes in me, even though he died like anyone else, shall live again.  He is given eternal life for believing in me and shall never parish. Do you believe this, Martha?"  We have only to believe to have eternal life, are we not fortunate?  But let us keep believing every moment of every day in our earthly life so that we may set a spiritual example for others who need the spirit so badly.  Disease, disasters, cancers take such a toll on all of our lives but God gives us the strength to face these things because we believe.  I was saddened to read of another blogger's husband who had surgery on Friday for colon cancer only to find that the liver and more are involved.  Such a great burden to bear!  But this woman has great faith and is ready to meet head on what has become her husband's enemy.  Having faith is believing without seeing and God has the final word in all things.  So we raise up our humble prayers for this man and his wife that they will have strength to endure and pray for a miracle just as my hubby and I do each day.
