Here is my Good Sport

HERE IS what my good sport really looks like when she is not coloring her hair and looking like "Alfalfa" as so many of you commented-Ha!
Barbara is our youngest daughter.  She has always been a lot of fun and shares our sense of humor completely!  She was such a good sport about letting me post her in her pink tee with her hair pulled up while coloring it.  Thanks for all your fun comments on the Pink Saturday Post and as requested, you now can meet her as she really is!

I just love all vintage cards but especially Valentine Greetings!  I love the Era of Romance that existed when these precious postcards were created.  What fun!  Valentine week is so much fun with all the commercials, cards and sentiments all around us.  I have created my own Valentine to feature on Pink Saturday created by Beverly at HOW SWEET THE SOUND.  I cannot wait to see what everyone has done for the special day, especially my beautiful niece, Patricia at From the Basement Stairs.  Patricia loves everything Victorian, everything Marie (Antoinette) and creates the most beautiful trading cards and tags that I have ever seen.  She also is a skilled crochet artist.  I marvel and gasp at some of her beautiful crocheted pieces that are elegant and perfect. Her vignettes of house decor are so pleasing to the eye as she has a real flair for decorating.  I also love the view from her windows where she gives us a peek at her precious garden in summer and snow covered field in winter light.  Please visit Patricia by clicking on the link and then visiting her other blogs with links in her sidebar.  You will not be disappointed!

Good Morning Sweetie...
I can't wait to see your Valentine. So pretty I am sure. I love the pic of your sweet daughter. She was a good sport. Not many of us would allow a camera near at that time in the process. Loved it though. Thank you sweetie.

I will go and check out your family member link and say hi. I love to chat. You know that.

Thanks for sharing sweetie. Say hi to Bill for me, give him my love, and scratch Isabella's ears for me. Tell her Aunt Sherry loves her.

Country hugs sweetie and so much love...Sherry

It's nice to see such a pretty picture of your daughter. She was such a good sport last Saturday. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for Pink Saturday. I have to get busy!

Hi Kerrie! I have to laugh.. I've taken some heat myself while coloring my own hair!!... Can't wait to see what Valentine you've made for Pink Saturday! I think I'll be posting my blogaversary giveaway that day too!... Gosh, we've been lucky so far, but it looks like we've got some snow coming tomorrow morning and throughout the day... to the tune of between 3 to 6"! Can't say I'm looking forward to THAT! I worry most about my daughter driving in it!.. I'm just crossing my fingers and praying for Spring to come soon! ~tina
