Yo-Yo Quilt In Progress
This is a Yo-Yo quilt that I have been working on for a long time - ha! Each circle has a running stitch around the edge and then pulled tight and fastened creating the "Yo-Yo". Then they all have to be sewn together in rows of contrasting colors. I have cut a backing, hemmed it and I am now tacking the Yo-Yo's to the backing. It will still take some time to finish. You need no filler for this Quilt, a heavy backing is enough. It will fit the top of a single bed. I love hand work and this is all stitched by hand.
