I feel just great today! Surely, something is wrong - ha! God is so Good and I am so full of joy for life! I keep thinking about a column that I used to read all the time in the 60's and 70's in one of the ladies magazines that you buy at the check out. The name of it was "Butternut Wisdom" and the author escapes my memory. (Old-Timer's Disease) The author was always upbeat in her writings and words of wisdom. She talked about nature, seasons, cooking, friends and it was like sitting down and chatting with a good friend over tea. Her column was in the front of the magazine and the first place I went to enjoy my visit with her. I am working on a second blog that would be similar and feature my musings, serious and humorous, my poetry and my thoughts on life in general whether you want to hear it or not! It will be great fun for me and may give you a laugh in the future or something you can identify with in your life and feel like you have a kindred soul. Certainly I have reached the age to impart wisdom to the masses - ha! Gone are the days when I thought 40 must be very old indeed. That was when I was first married, some 49 yrs. earlier! Did you notice that the older you get, the farther away Older is? One of life's little mysteries. 'Nuf said. I will post a link to this new blog as soon as I am finished with it. I will get to be the real me.
I was also blessed today in that I had a comment from the author of "Little Buttercups", she is a darling. Blogging makes the world less large and though miles part family and friends, we can visit.
