Soft sculpture Creche
Last but not least, I put out my creche figures that I made back in the early 90's. I bought the material with the figures on it. I cut them out, sewed them and stuffed with fiber fill. Then I enhanced all the features and clothing with Tulip Fabric Paint. One jewel is on the head wrap of one of the Magi figures. I have loved how this all came out and have put it out every Christmas Eve since. The stable has cardboard inserted inside and makes the back drop for them that folds to store.
These are amazing, Kerrie! Do they stand up on their own? I've never seen anything like it! Where did you find the stable, it goes with the figures perfectly.
I am a grandma and a great grandma! ... I love creating things and crafting. Also, working in the yard, reading, and blogging. I write poetry and am a wildlife photographer. I have moved back home after 28 yrs in SC. I live in a historic town in the Fingerlakes and love it very much. Thank you for visiting and PLEASE leave a comment. I treasure them!
