New Header....

HAPPY NEW YEAR TUESDAY!  I changed my blog header picture getting the idea from "Comin' Home", Donna's blog!  Her heart is so full of music, the Lord and working with her hands!  We are a lot alike.  I am linked so that when she posts each day, she pops up in my e-mail and I get my coffee, sit by the computer and check it out.
This is my desk that looks out on the pond where I see all the wonderful birds and wildlife!  My mug is my favorite with the lobster on it.  Hubby bought it for me when we visited Maine a bizzillian years ago-ha!  I made myself the mug-rug at Christmas when I made all the others for last minute extras.  You can see the others on my Kerries's Krafts 3 blog posted December 23rd.  I could spend hours looking at just this one blog of Donna's!  Anyway she inspired me to take a picture of my own piano in the living room under the window that faces the back yard, too.
As I tear myself away to do housework wearing my jeans and Tee, I am interrupted by the sounds of Celtic music I am playing on the CD player in the living room and must take down my violin from the wall.  Just like John Denver, "When I'm feelin' kinda low, I pick up my fiddle and I resin up the bow..." playing along to the celtic music or John Denver songs...  I used to play the guitar and sing all of his tunes to my kids when they were little!  They all still love his music...  I still play all of my instruments but arthritis in my hands keeps me from playing as much as I would like!
Okay, back to the housework!  Hubby and dau. Barb who lives with us, completed my new storage area inside and at the back of the workshop/shed.  It is like a single walk-in closet all insulated and plastic on the floor for a moisture barrier.  This will give me a wonderful space to store the Christmas tree and ornaments so we no longer have to get in the attic with a tall ladder.  I have fallen once and hubby has fallen once!  2 times 2 many!!
Okay Sweet followers, I shall depart and please visit Kerrie's Korner, SC to see the Mergansers and Heron that came today!
Thank you so much for visiting and do come back soon.  You all have made a difference in my life this past year and my hubby and I appreciate all the wonderful prayers to keep him going in his battle with Multiple Myeloma in his spine.  God Bless!
♥KERRIE♥
My heart to yours...

Hi Kerrie! It's so nice to meet you! You're as cute as a button and look at you playing your violin! How wonderful. I just love beautiful violin or fiddle music. Used to be a young man at my church who played the violin and I play the piano and we would play duets. Just loved doing that.
I love John Denver songs too and he had such a nice voice.
Thanks so much for popping in to see me and I hope you'll come back again.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Your header looks wonderful....that is something I need to learn as I get bored looking at the same one...

You are a cutie! You just keep on playing and don't stop using your fingers...orders from my doctor to me and my knee! And, I found something from a California friend that has helped my and my Arthur-itis so much it is hard to believe the difference....Cod Liver Oil pills...I take two in the morning and one at night. No after taste and they are quite inexpensive. After a week or two you will notice you just do not hurt like you did before. I read an article in Prevention on fish oil and how good it is, too.
So nice to have you visit.
