Lovely Grass Flower...

HAPPY SATURDAY! While walking the other day, I passed a house where the lawn had not been cut as the house was empty and for sale.  In the lawn was a very large cluster of wild grass with the most beautiful flower!  I picked one and brought it home as it was definitely vase worthy!
   Isn't this the loveliest blade of grass with a flower that you have ever seen?

I had never seen anything like this before and have not tried to identify it as yet.  If anyone knows of its name or has seen grass like this before, I would love to hear.  Such beauty in so small a thing in nature!  I love the background that is one of my vintage tablecloths.  It cheers the kitchen so much to have this on the table.
